WooCommerce Development

WooCommerce development for stores that do more.

A successful store has to support the way a business actually sells and fulfills orders. We build and extend WooCommerce experiences, from straightforward store improvements to custom checkout, shipping logic, B2B workflows, and third-party integrations.

Illustrative storefront and rules, not a client store.

01 Beyond a standard setup

A store that is installed is not the same as a store that is engineered.

Installing WooCommerce

A working store

  • Install and configure the plugin
  • Choose and style a theme
  • Set up products, tax, and standard shipping
  • Connect a standard payment gateway
Engineering the store

A store that follows your business rules

  • Checkout fields, validation, and purchase flows built around how the business sells
  • Shipping and delivery rules that reflect real fulfillment constraints
  • Pricing and buying rules for specific customer groups
  • Integrations assessed against your plugins, data, hosting, and operations

Standard setup is a good fit for many stores. We are the right call when the way you sell does not fit the defaults, or when a store is already live and has to keep working while it changes.

02 Where the rules live

Your store has business rules. WooCommerce should follow them.

Every order passes through the same six stages. Most stores need little change at most of them. The work is finding the few places where the business rules live.

  1. 01

    Product

    • Variations and options
    • Custom product data
    • Catalog imports
  2. 02

    Cart

    • Minimum orders
    • Role-based pricing
    • Cart behavior rules
  3. 03

    Shipping and delivery

    • Carrier rates
    • Eligibility and cutoffs
    • Pickup conditions
  4. 04

    Checkout

    • Fields and validation
    • Payment choices
    • Purchase flows
  5. 05

    Payment

    • Compatible providers
    • Failure handling
    • Order status mapping
  6. 06

    Fulfillment

    • Shipping services and APIs
    • External business systems
    • Order data hand-off

A conceptual illustration of service capability. It is not a screenshot of a client store, and no store needs every stage customized.

03 What we build and extend

Six areas of WooCommerce work.

01

Custom checkout and buying journeys

Adapt checkout fields, validation, payment choices, cart behavior, and purchasing flows to real business requirements.

02

Shipping, delivery, and pickup logic

Configure or develop shipping rules, carrier integrations, delivery eligibility, cutoff times, pickup conditions, and other fulfillment requirements.

03

B2B and wholesale commerce

Support trade-focused buying with role-based pricing, account-specific purchasing rules, minimum orders, and relevant catalog behavior.

04

Product and inventory workflows

Handle complex variations, product options, catalog imports, custom product data, and workflows that connect product decisions to ordering.

05

Payments and external integrations

Connect WooCommerce with compatible payment providers, shipping services, APIs, and external business systems while accounting for reliability and error handling.

06

Fixes and long-term improvements

Diagnose plugin conflicts and checkout problems, improve store performance, and extend established stores without unnecessary rebuilds.

04 Changing a live store

How we change a store without putting it at risk.

Integrations and custom logic are assessed against the store’s plugins, existing data, hosting setup, and operational requirements before anything is built. No change to a live store is risk-free, but it can be managed.

  1. Assess the store

Plugins, theme, existing data, hosting, and the requirements behind the request.

  2. Write the rules down

Business logic captured as specific, testable requirements before any code.

  3. Build on staging

Changes made away from the live store, with a copy of real conditions where possible.

  4. Test the money paths

Checkout, payment test modes, shipping rules, and order emails, each checked end to end.

  5. Release with a plan

Timing, backups, and a rollback path agreed first, then attention after launch.

08 Questions

Questions about store work.

Scoped answers. The details always depend on the store, its plugins, and how it sells.

Often, yes. We can adjust fields, validation, payment choices, and flow within the existing store. We confirm what is feasible after reviewing the theme, plugins, and checkout setup.

Yes, where the carrier or service offers an API or a compatible plugin. We assess the rules, the data they need, and how errors should be handled before building.

Yes. Role-based pricing, minimum orders, and account-specific rules are common requests. We scope them against how your customers actually buy.

Yes. We start by isolating conflicts and slow points on staging, then recommend fixes, which may include removing or replacing a plugin. Findings come before changes.

Changes are built and tested on staging, including checkout in payment test modes. Releases are planned around backups, timing, and a rollback path.
